In case you're wondering what you're looking at:
The Silos in the top right of the first picture were from the Lough Egish Company.
The red 'Traffic Lights' sign is there because the Marsh Road joined up with the Dublin Road opposite the bottom of Mary Street at the time.
Finally, the picture from 2004 couldn't be taken from the same spot because of the damage done to ground that supports the Dublin Road on the Marsh Road side (see elsewhere on this site).
